The Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) has begun the removal of illegal structures at the Olusosun dumpsite. According to Gbadegesin, affected owners and occupants had been directed to remove the structures and vacate the area within a stipulated period, in accordance with the law. The operation is part of efforts to enforce environmental regulations.
