The governorship candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Lagos State, Prince Adelaja Adeoye, has said his ambition for the 2027 election is driven by a desire to provide accountable and people-oriented governance. Adeoye, a real estate entrepreneur, said he is seeking to lead Lagos not merely to occupy the seat of government at Alausa, but to implement his development agenda, which he described as Atunto Eko. He said Lagos needs a servant-leader who cares, listens and delivers, and his proposed agenda would focus on housing, poverty reduction, job creation, healthcare, environmental management, education, infrastructure, transportation and security. On housing, Adeoye cited a deficit of more than three million housing units in Lagos and said, if elected, he would provide 50,000 affordable rental units.
