Governor Dauda Lawal approved a state-wide fumigation against mosquitoes and other insects to curb the spread of malaria and other mosquito-related illnesses in Zamfara State. The exercise, announced by the Executive Chairman of the Zamfara State Environmental Protection and Enforcement Agency (ZEPEA), Muhammad Zangina Abdullahi, will begin in selected wards in Gusau metropolis. The fumigation aims to depopulate disease-carrying insects and promote public health.
