The Group Chief Executive of First City Monument Bank, Ladi Balogun, described the Dangote Refinery Initial Public Offering as an opportunity for Nigerians to gain access to a world-scale business. The IPO opened on September 14 and will close on October 13, offering 4.1 billion ordinary shares at N525 per share, with a minimum subscription of 10 shares. If fully subscribed, the offer will raise approximately N2.15 trillion. Balogun spoke at the opening gong ceremony and Facts Behind the Offer presentation at the Nigerian Exchange.
