The African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State are exchanging accusations over an attack on ADC supporters at a toll gate. The incident occurred on Tuesday when supporters gathered to welcome ADC governorship candidate Isa Ashiru back from a two-week Lesser Hajj pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia. Vehicles belonging to supporters were reportedly vandalised, and mobile phones were allegedly stolen. Dr. Ilesha Paul, chairman of the Ashiru Support Group, said supporters from Zones 1, 2, and 3 had converged for a major rally when they were attacked.
