The Founder's Week is themed "Owning the Future, Advancing the King's College Lagos Legacy" and features a week-long lineup of activities. The celebration began with a press briefing led by the King's College Old Boys Association (KCOBA), where its president, Alhaji Kashim Ibrahim-Iman, acknowledged the difficult timing but affirmed the need to celebrate. The event comes amid a revolt by parents over the concession arrangement.
