Experts Canvass Integration of Insurance Checks into Public Digital Platform

Experts have called for the integration of insurance checks into Nigeria's public digital platform to increase insurance penetration from 0.5% of GDP to 10%. They also urged the federal government to establish an insurance register, enforce compliance, and insure public assets and employees in line with the new NIRA law. The call was made at a two-day all-media inclusive seminar themed "The Universe of Insurance and Journalism: Risk Everywhere, In Everything," organised by Insurance Publication Limited. Dr. Omogbai Omo-Eboh stressed that the success of any national insurance policy depends on its integration into public digital services.
