Politicians Must Look Beyond Four-Year Election Cycles, Says Lagos Gov, Sanwo-Olu

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has urged politicians to adopt long-term planning beyond four-year election cycles. He made the call while speaking as a guest lecturer at the centenary anniversary lecture of the Yoruba Tennis Club, themed 'Democracy, Governance and the Lagos Spirit: A Century of Excellence'. Sanwo-Olu identified vision, self-reliance, partnership, and a citizen-focused governance approach as key habits driving Lagos State's governance model. He noted that the state's development blueprint, introduced in 1999, has been maintained across successive administrations, ensuring continuity.
