The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has declared an indefinite strike at three universities in Lagos State. According to ASUU, its final warning issued on 10 September did not lead to any talks with the government, and a subsequent deadline of 13 September also passed without dialogue. The strike action follows the government's failure to engage with the union's demands.
