A yet-to-be-identified man was electrocuted while allegedly attempting to vandalise a transformer in Abam-Ama community, Okrika Local Government Area of Rivers State. The incident was discovered by members of the Civilian Joint Task Force on patrol. The task force commander, Igwe Godswill, said the deceased was believed to have been electrocuted when power was restored during the vandalism attempt. The incident has been reported to the Okrika Police Division for investigation.
