Mallam Bukar Ali, Senior Special Assistant to the chairman of Abaji Area Council on Education and Policy Communication, called for collective efforts to restore electricity supply in the area following the vandalisation of electricity infrastructure. He was reacting to residents' complaints about a prolonged blackout. Ali said the council chairman has been exploring ways to address the problem, but a lasting solution requires involvement of stakeholders and contributions from residents. He noted that the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) had informed the council about the situation.
