The PHPA Abuja Grassroots Girls STEM Alliance, an initiative of the Abuja Grassroots Association of Nigeria, has commenced a scholarship programme for female science students in three selected Government Science Secondary Schools in the Federal Capital Territory. The Alliance plans to grant scholarships to 200 girls to promote their participation in STEM. Founder Princess Hauwa Philip Aduda described the programme as an investment in the future of girls in the FCT. Particular attention will be given to promising girls from indigenous and underserved communities.
