Troops of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) have neutralised 1,106 Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists and intercepted over N300 million in illicit funds from their financiers. The outgoing Theatre Commander, Major General Abdulsalam Abubakar, disclosed this during his farewell address at Maimalari Cantonment in Maiduguri, Borno State. The operations also led to the arrest of 758 logistics collaborators and the recovery of over 475 assorted weapons, 24,409 rounds of ammunition, and 295 Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs). The commander attributed the successes to sustained kinetic pressure and non-kinetic engagements, which triggered a wave of surrenders.
