President Bola Tinubu has commenced the payment of N18 billion in outstanding severance benefits to 2,700 former workers of the defunct Nigeria Airways Limited. The airline was shut down in 2003 and liquidated in 2004, leaving workers owed for years. The payment has brought relief to the former workers and their families.
