Six supporters of former Inspector General of Police Mohammed Adamu died in a fatal auto crash on Monday in Lafia, Nasarawa State. The victims were traveling in a truck from the Social Democratic Party secretariat on Jos Road to Awe Local Government Area for a programme organised by Adamu when the vehicle crashed near Lafia Flyover. Several other occupants sustained injuries in the incident. The State Police Command attributed the accident to brake failure in the truck.
