The National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) and the Network of Civil Society Organisations in Borno (NECSOB) have launched a partnership aimed at strengthening Nigeria's whole-of-society response to terrorism. The collaboration combines the NCTC's national leadership role in coordinating Nigeria's counter-terrorism efforts with NECSOB's network of more than 200 civil society organisations working directly with communities across the North-East. The partnership is expected to enhance community engagement and coordination in counter-terrorism initiatives.
