The DAM Foundation has increased its support for grassroots basketball development in Nigeria through infrastructure, competitions, and welfare initiatives. The foundation, linked to Dr Mustapha Abdullahi, aims to strengthen the pathway for young players to emerge. Abdullahi, who has been involved in basketball for over a decade as a player and supporter, said elite-level challenges cannot be solved without investing in youth. He emphasized that talented youngsters need access to functional facilities, regular competitions, and mentorship.
