US Court Orders Floyd Mayweather’s Daughter Yaya To Pay $50m Over 2020 Stabbing Incident

A United States court has ordered Iyanna “Yaya” Mayweather, daughter of retired boxing champion Floyd Mayweather, to pay $50.1 million in damages to Lapattra Lashai Jacobs for a 2020 stabbing incident. According to legal documents from the District Court of Harris County, Texas, dated Monday, September 14, 2026, the judge awarded $40.1 million in compensatory damages and $10 million in exemplary damages. The compensatory payment covers physical pain, mental anguish, lost earnings, and permanent disfigurement. The court also instructed Mayweather to submit detailed financial statements to facilitate payment.
