Former Nigeria captain Segun Odegbami has described FIFA’s intervention in Nigeria’s football administration crisis as a “blessing” following a two-day stakeholder meeting in Abuja. Odegbami, who participated in Tuesday’s fact-finding meeting involving FIFA, CAF, the NFF, and other stakeholders, said discussions were held in a cordial atmosphere. In a piece titled “Meeting with FIFA – foto no dey lie!”, he noted that the meeting brought the football community together to discuss challenges. He added that the FIFA delegation demonstrated a clear understanding of the major issues affecting Nigerian football.
