Liberia celebrated its 179th National Flag Day under the theme 'From Heritage to Hope: The Flag That Unites Us,' with national leaders, students, educators, and citizens participating. The event began at the Barclay Training Center with student-led flag raising, competitive drills, and a Pass-in-Review before the official programme at the Executive Pavilion. President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. urged Liberians to live the values behind the pledge of allegiance through respect for the law, discipline, peaceful coexistence, and putting Liberia above personal and political divisions, and challenged young Liberians to reject drugs. Minister of Education Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah announced the return of Civics Education.
