The Federal Road Safety Corps has blamed counter-flow drivers for worsening the gridlock on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. The Lagos State Sector Commander, Kehinde Hamzat, said the actions of recalcitrant drivers compounded the traffic situation, especially around Kara, OPIC, and Fagbems areas. A joint meeting involving stakeholders from Lagos and Ogun states was held to address the issue.
