In Partnership with the United Nations, the Government of Lesotho is Collaborating to Foster the Development of Youth Population with Access to Services and Information

The Government of Lesotho, in partnership with the United Nations, is working to revitalize Youth Resource Centres (YRCs) to better serve young people. Minister of Gender, Youth and Social Development Hon. Pitso Lesaoana emphasized the importance of partnerships in creating safe, inclusive, and digitally enabled spaces. The initiative, supported by UNFPA, aims to develop a prototype YRC that meets the needs of young people, especially those in hard-to-reach districts. UNFPA Representative John Kennedy Mosoti stressed the need to reach young people, including those in rural areas and with disabilities, with essential information and skills.
