A dinner banquet was held on September 15 at the Egyptian Ambassador's residence in Japan to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the establishment of Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The event was attended by Japanese officials, including State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Mr. YAMADA Kenji, who is also Director General of the Japan-Egypt Friendship Parliamentary Association. In his opening remarks, Egyptian Ambassador Ragui Eletreby noted that the ministry was established in 1826 and highlighted the friendly bilateral relations and strategic partnership between Egypt and Japan. He also mentioned ongoing cultural cooperation, such as the Grand Egyptian Museum, and economic collaboration.
