Liquidation: 13 directors served with court order over NICON Insurance assets

The Federal High Court in Abuja has directed that its order be served on 13 former directors of NICON Insurance Limited, which is undergoing liquidation. The order requires the directors to account for their roles in the company's day-to-day operations over the past seven years. The preservation order followed a petition filed by the Receiver/Liquidator, Mr. Chukwuma-Machukwu Ume, SAN, seeking to wind up the company over the cancellation of its operating licence. Justice Chigozie Onah presided over the court and had earlier slated September 21 for proceedings on the petition.
