A controversy has emerged over the 14-member advisory committee set up by the Sokoto State Government to investigate the attack on Sheikh Musa Ayuba Lukuwa and the subsequent death of his alleged attacker at Lukuwa Jumu'at Mosque in Mabera, Sokoto. Mallam Murtala Bello Asada raised concerns about the committee's composition, alleging that some members have had longstanding disagreements with Lukuwa. In a message titled 'Wannan Shine Karshen Rashin Adalci?' ('Is This the Height of Injustice?'), Asada questioned whether an investigation could be impartial if such individuals are involved. He asked how justice could be achieved if those with a history of disagreement with Lukuwa are given roles in determining the circumstances of the incident.
