24 Liberian Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Professionals Depart for Advanced International Training

Twenty-four Liberian Technical and Vocational Education and Training professionals have departed for advanced training in Kenya and Ghana under the European Union-funded Youth Rising Project, implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization. The approximately 18-month training programs aim to strengthen their technical, pedagogical, and professional competencies in areas linked to Liberia's skills-development and workforce needs. Participants in Kenya will focus on Culinary Arts, Event Management, and Hospitality Operations, while those in Ghana will study Welding and Fabrication and Fashion Design. At the pre-departure ceremony, Minister of Education Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah thanked the EU and UNIDO and described the initiative as an important investment in Liberia's human capital.
