Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has mourned the death of veteran Nollywood actor Olu Jacobs, describing it as a great loss to Nigeria's creative industry and the country. Jacobs died at the age of 84, according to an announcement by his son, Olusoji Jacobs. In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, Sanwo-Olu said Jacobs' legacy would live on through his works and the memories he created. The governor noted that Jacobs' contributions to the creative industry would remain evergreen, describing his talent, grace, and creativity as unmatched.
