The Federal Government, on Wednesday, commissioned a 3MW captive solar hybrid power project at the University of Abuja (now Yakubu Gowon University). The project aims to strengthen electricity supply for teaching, research, laboratories, digital services and other critical university operations. It was part of the Phase II Energising Education Programme (EEP) with support from the World Bank.
