Facebook and TikTok have been inaccessible in Equatorial Guinea for more than two weeks, according to an AFP journalist. Internet speed has been restricted since September 2, and access to the platforms has been impossible without a virtual private network. The apparent block follows a viral video in which a young woman accused the vice-president of corruption. She was subsequently arrested by authorities.
