The Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory Football Association, Adam Mouktar Mohammed, is participating in the World Football Summit 2026 in Madrid, Spain, to seek international partnerships and investment for football development in Abuja. The summit gathers football administrators, clubs, leagues, federations, investors, technology companies, and commercial stakeholders from the global football industry. Mohammed said his participation would allow him to study global best practices and explore partnerships that could be adapted to the FCT and the wider country. The FCT FA is seeking to improve youth development, coach education, infrastructure, technology, and the commercialisation of football in the nation's capital.
