The Republic of Cabo Verde signed its first Country Programme Framework (CPF) with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for the period 2026-2031. The agreement was signed by IAEA Deputy Director General Hua Liu and Cabo Verde's Resident Representative Clara Manuela da Luz Delgado Jesus. The CPF identifies four priority areas: nuclear and radiation safety and nuclear security, food and agriculture, human health, and water resources management. Cabo Verde has been an IAEA Member State since 2023.
