The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Benue State has dismissed reports alleging that Governor Hyacinth Alia plans to demolish its secretariat. The Acting Chairman of CAN in the state, Rev. Jonathan Ugbede, described the report as false and malicious, stating that the governor never contemplated such action. Ugbede expressed satisfaction with the governor's prompt response to the allegation, noting that Alia had already debunked the report. He urged the Christian community to disregard the speculation.
