Chelsea striker Joao Pedro has withdrawn from the Brazil squad for upcoming international friendlies against Australia and India due to an injury. The Brazilian Football Confederation confirmed on Wednesday that Fluminense forward Martinelli will replace him. The nature and severity of the injury were not disclosed. The withdrawal comes after Joao Pedro earned a recall following his omission from Carlo Ancelotti's squad for the 2026 World Cup.
