President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Kwara State governor and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors' Forum, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, on his turbaning as the Sardauna of Ilorin. Tinubu also commended the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, for conferring the title on AbdulRazaq, who is also President of the Forum of Regions of Africa. In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, the President described the honour as a fitting recognition of the governor's leadership, public service and contributions to the development of Kwara State. He also praised the Emir for preserving the role of traditional institutions in fostering harmony, supporting democratic governance and promoting sustainable development.
