The Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Enforcement Unit, known as the Taskforce, has vowed to intensify enforcement against road users and activities that obstruct public roads and threaten public safety. The Chairman of the Taskforce, Adetayo Akerele, made this known during the agency's 2026 Stakeholders' Engagement Programme. The move is aimed at ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and maintaining order on Lagos roads.
