A final year student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Oluwole Oluwasegun, has reportedly committed suicide. According to a statement by the institution's Public Relations Officer, Olarewaju Abiodun, the incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon at the deceased's off-campus hostel in the Damico area of Ooni layout, Ile-Ife. The university's Quick Response and Security Team and the Nigeria Police were contacted, and the student was conveyed to the University Health Centre. The police are investigating the incident.
