Nigerian varsity workers who benefited from the N13bn FG-backed loan will begin repayment through monthly salary deductions starting from October 2026. The loan scheme was designed to provide financial support to university staff. Repayment will be automatically deducted from their salaries each month. The arrangement is part of the Federal Government’s efforts to recover the loan funds.
