Families of deceased police officers in Ekiti State have received insurance benefit cheques worth N9.8 million from the Nigeria Police Force. The cheques were presented to the beneficiaries as part of the Force’s welfare support for the families of fallen officers. The payment is intended to cushion the financial impact of the loss on the families.
