President Bola Tinubu, along with other prominent Nigerians including Amosun, Sanwo-Olu, and Musawa, has mourned the passing of veteran Nollywood actor and film executive Olu Jacobs, who died at the age of 84. Jacobs was known for bringing grace and finesse to the Nigerian film industry, combining local and international experiences in a career that spanned decades. After training at London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, he built a career in British television before returning to Nigeria, where he became a major force in the film industry. He won major industry honours and awards for his pioneering roles and was conferred with the national award of Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR).
