A contingent of policemen from various formations in Lagos State sealed the premises of King's College, Onikan in Lagos following days of protest by parents. The parents had a serious altercation with policemen and members of the old boys association of the college on Tuesday. Roads leading to the main gate of the college were cordoned off by police vehicles and officers, and vehicles coming from Tafawa Balewa end were diverted to other routes. Members of the Old Boys Association, including its National President, Mr Ibrahim Imam, and former President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Mr Olumide Akpata, were present at the scene.
