The APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) has urged President Bola Tinubu to intervene in the face-off between governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, to prevent it from harming the ruling party in the 2027 elections. APC PCC spokesman, Ima Niboro, said the political dispute between the FCT Minister and the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) over Wike's cross-party initiative, the Rainbow Coalition, would be resolved internally soon. The governors are at daggers-drawn with Wike's Rainbow Coalition, which had fielded candidates from rival parties in many states, saying it would hurt APC candidates and President Tinubu's re-election.
