Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State, hosted the turbaning of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as Sardauna of Ilorin Emirate and the commissioning of two legacy projects. At least eight aircraft landed at General Tunde Idiagbon International Airport, Ilorin, carrying high-profile personalities. Vice President Kashim Shettima, the lead guest, arrived at 1:05 p.m. and was received by Governor AbdulRazaq alongside governors of Imo, Kaduna, Kebbi, Ogun and Gombe states, the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Prince Lateef Fagbemi, and others. Governors of Ekiti and Plateau states, former Niger State Governor Senator Sani Bello, and BUA Group chairman Alhaji AbdulSamad Rabiu were also in attendance.
