Developers Target 3,000 Jobs As Housing Deficit Hits 14.98m Units

The Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria said a new 2,400-unit housing estate in Abuja will create more than 3,000 jobs. REDAN Abuja Chapter Vice President Dr Gbadewole Kayode disclosed this at the groundbreaking ceremony of The Embassy in the Federal Capital Territory. He said the project was conceived to increase housing available to Nigerians, particularly FCT residents, where rising demand puts pressure on accommodation. Nigeria's housing deficit currently stands at about 14.98 million units.
