The Kaduna State Government has announced plans to integrate successful interventions from the Advancing Local Dairy Development in Nigeria (ALDDN) programme into its livestock development programmes. The Director of Livestock Services, Mr Amwe Akos, disclosed this at the ALDDN State-Level Close-Out Event in Zaria, representing the Commissioner for Agriculture, Alhaji Murtala Mohammed-Dabo. He said some initiatives have already been included in the state's proposed 2027 budget, demonstrating the government's commitment to sustaining the gains. The state will continue to support interventions aimed at improving livestock production.
