Institute Plans Forensic Science Clubs In Schools

The Nigeria Forensic Institute has begun establishing forensic science clubs in Federal Government Colleges across Nigeria's six geopolitical zones. This initiative aims to expose young Nigerians to forensic knowledge and develop a new generation of forensic professionals. The plan was announced at a leadership workshop in Abuja organized by the Nigeria Forensic Institute, Forensic Ambassadors Africa, and the Forensic Ambassadors Academy, with the theme 'Forensic Science, Leadership and Volunteering for Sustainable National Development.' Prof. John Boroh, vice president of Forensic Ambassadors Africa, emphasized that forensic science is crucial to the justice system, security agencies, and society because it provides scientific methods for examining and presenting evidence.
