Somalia: Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) calls for treatment for malnutrition to be restored across Mudug

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is calling for malnutrition treatment to be restored and scaled up across Mudug region in Somalia. The inpatient malnutrition ward at Mudug Regional hospital has been operating beyond capacity, with over 1,300 children admitted in the first half of the year. Children are arriving later and sicker after health facilities within communities have closed. MSF urges donors, UN agencies, and health authorities to restore treatment at the general healthcare level.
