Jibrin To APC Governors: Stop Attacking Wike, Embrace Him

Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and federal lawmaker, has called on APC governors to stop attacking the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, and instead embrace him. Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Wednesday night, Jibrin said Wike should not be criticised for his continued membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) while he mobilises support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu through his political coalition. He noted that Wike’s efforts have benefited the APC and should be addressed through dialogue rather than public attacks. Jibrin added that there is no APC member in Nigeria who has not directly or indirectly benefited from Wike’s efforts in delivering the President, managing the government, and performing his duties.
