Air Peace and United Nigeria Airlines have disputed the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority's report on flight disruptions for August, calling it inaccurate. The NCAA report stated that domestic airlines recorded 4,801 disruptions out of 7,961 operated flights, with Air Peace having the highest number at 1,337 disruptions out of 1,864 flights. United Nigeria Airlines disrupted 951 out of 1,231 flights, while Enugu Air disrupted 586 out of 878 flights. Other airlines listed include ValueJet, Ibom Air, and Arik, with varying disruption figures.
