Huawei Technologies plans to launch a new AI chip in the first quarter of 2027, advancing its timeline by nine months. The announcement was made by Tao Wang, Huawei's deputy chairman and rotating chairman, at the Huawei Connect conference in Shanghai on Thursday. The move is part of Huawei's efforts to challenge Nvidia in the AI chip market.
