Promoter Eddie Hearn revealed that Anthony Joshua declined the opportunity to earn significantly more money by taking his proposed heavyweight fight with Tyson Fury to the United States. According to Hearn, Joshua and his team chose to honor their existing agreement to hold the all-British showdown in the UK. Hearn also criticized UFC CEO Dana White for attempting to get involved in the negotiations, stating that White has no role in the fight. Hearn emphasized that Joshua could have made many millions more in America but that the priority is to stage the fight in Britain.
